Population Data Science

This is the website for “Population Data Science”. This is a course designed by Dr. Carmen Cabrera-Arnau, Prof. Francisco Rowe and Dr. Elisabetta Pietrostefani, and delivered by Dr. Carmen Cabrera-Arnau, Dr. Olga Gkountouna and Mr. Matthew Howard, from the Geographic Data Science Lab at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Through a series of hands-on computational notebooks, you will learn data science methods to address social science questions relating to population trends, including supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches, network analysis and causal inference methods.
The website is free to use and is licensed under the Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International. A compilation of this web course is hosted as a GitHub repository that you can access:
